Firebelly Marketing to manage all social media efforts for IIFF 2009
Earlier this year, Indianapolis International Film Festival selected Firebelly Marketing as its social media agency for the 2009 festival. Responsibilities include managing all social media assets, managing the blog strategy and content development, and working with IIFF evangelists to extend the excitement of the film festival online. According to Dorothy Henckel, President of the board of the IIFF, "we picked Firebelly Marketing because they understand our brand, the social scene in Indy, and our audience, and they live what they preach - that's impressive." Duncan Alney and Chad Richards who will spearhead the social media marketing efforts for IIFF are also film makers and have the unique perspective of what its like to be in the production process, and the vital role that film festivals like IIFF play for film makers in connecting with their audiences.
